There is much to be learned from simple societies, whether it is in the aborigines in the hinterlands of continents, or whether it is in the early social groups such as the Quakers and the Amish. These cultures see the benefit of simple living, that they allow children to be children, and children learn through imitating and if they are not able to imitate or observe exactly, they will invent solutions themselves, in their own little work groups and little social groups. This is very important to a sustainable society. --Monjoronson
